Exciting news!
The CARES (Caregivers Advancing Regulatory Environment and Skills) Erasmus+ project was launched in November 2024. We are partners in the project coordinated by CLNR (Center for Not-for-profit Law) from Romania, the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection, Sector 6 (DGASPC S6 Bucharest), the Welfare Society Institute (WSI) from Lithuania and the Cooperativa Sociale Labor from Italy.
The CARES project aims to support social workers and informal caregivers through training programs, online resources and policy recommendations, with a special focus on their well-being, mental health and digital skills development. The project addresses two key challenges:
1. Integrating digital tools and sustainable practices to mitigate the workplace impacts of climate change,
2. Prioritising the physical and mental well-being of caregivers, paying special attention to the challenges arising from workload and job demands.
In this regards, the CARES project partners are working together to provide effective support for these professionals. Stay tuned for further updates!
