Eurofound 8th Foundation Forum 2025 is coming soon

On November 19-20 in Dublin, Eurofound will host the 8th Foundation Forum 2025, which will focus on the future of the European social model and its economic and social impact, and celebrate the agency’s 50th anniversary.

Organised by Eurofound and the Irish government, the forum will look back on the past five decades, during which Eurofound has contributed to the development of European social, employment, and labour systems through its evidence-based research and policy recommendations. The one-day program will feature plenary presentations, thematic panel discussions, and interactive debates, allowing participants to reflect together on the future of the European social model. The message of the forum is particularly relevant to the social sector, where workers perform their jobs in challenging conditions daily, often under physical and mental strain.

The objectives of our CARES (Caregivers Advancing Regulatory Environment and Skills) project are also in line with this: our goal is to support the well-being, mental health, and digital skills of social workers and informal caregivers through training programs, online learning materials, and policy recommendations. The project team is currently working on the development of online training modules that offer practice-oriented, flexible learning opportunities for those working in the social sector.

The project is implemented within the framework of Erasmus+, with the participation of CLNR (Center for Not-for-profit Law), the Directorate General for Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC S6 Bucharest), WSI (Welfare Society Institute), Cooperativa Sociale Labor and HÉTFA Research Institute.
